Our Story

Back in 2008, our founder Alexandra was struggling with skin challenges - acne, rosacea and extreme sensitivity, stemming from health challenges. 

As a makeup artist, Alexandra had tried countless skincare products and became incredibly frustrated with the endless skincare battles and misleading claims from countless brands that either didn't help her skin, or made her skin worse. 

Alexandra wanted a simpler, more natural approach to beauty and skincare that was gentle, yet highly effective. 

Using her experience and qualifications in pharmaceuticals, dermal sciences and natural therapies, she rolled up her sleeves and started experimenting and Reya Skincare was born in 2012. 

Reya had humble beginnings - our products were manufactured in our kitchen, using organic ingredients, with a label crudely designed and printed on our home printer that was constantly breaking down. 

Fast forward to 2024, our products are now manufactured in a professional lab, right here in Australia and we are proud to say our labels are no longer printed on our home printer!

From our humble beginnings until now, one thing remains the same - our commitment to skincare that is gentle, highly effective, free from harsh chemicals, ethically sourced ingredients and suitable for all skin types.
